1. WHO IS A DATA CONTROLLER?

A data controller of your personal data is the company that determines the purpose and means of processing your personal information. For marketing purposes, the data controller is the company: modulCAD s.r.o.

 

2. WHAT TYPES OF PERSONAL DATA DO WE PROCESS?

For marketing purposes, we process the following categories of personal information to help us determine the range of products and services you may like and address your needs.

Basic identification data: name, registered office.

Contact data: phone number, e-mail address.

Information about the use of products and services: what services we provided to you in the past, information about the use of internet customer zone. Based on these data we can recommend you suitable products and services.

Information from the recordings of phone calls or other interactions with you, e.g. via e-mail, chat, sms text messages.

 

3. WHAT SOURCES DOES THE PERSONAL INFORMATION COME FROM?

The personal data listed in the previous paragraph is obtained directly from you.

Personal data may also come from publicly available sources, registers, and records, e.g. from the Register of Companies. Your personal information may also come from third parties who are authorized to deal with it.

 

4. WHAT PURPOSES HAVE YOU GRANTED YOUR CONSENT FOR?

You have granted your consent for marketing purposes that include the following activities:

offering products and services. Based on your consent we may provide our offers electronically, in particular by e-mail messages or the messages sent to mobile devices via a telephone number, through a web-based client zone, in writing or via a telephone call,

market surveys and surveys of customer satisfaction with the products and services used.

The consent granted for marketing purposes is voluntary. However, it is essential for us to be able to send you individual offers of products and services of our company or our business partners. Without such consent, we could not provide you with any individual offers of products and services.

 

5. HOW LONG WILL YOUR PERSONAL DATA BE PROCESSED BY US?

You have granted the consent to the company for the duration of the contractual relationship and for the next 10 years after the termination of such contractual relationship or until the moment you revoke your consent.

If you are not our client or you will not become the client of our company, your consent will be valid for 10 years from granting it or until the moment you revoke it.

Upon expiration of the relevant time, your personal data will be erased, but only to the extent and for purposes for which no consent is required under the law.

7. WHAT ARE YOUR RIGHTS IN THE PROCESSING OF YOUR PERSONAL DATA?

Proper processing of your personal data is important for companies in the Slovak Republic and its protection is obvious. When processing your personal data you may exercise the following rights:

 

Information about the processing of your personal data

The information shall include, in particular: the identification and contact details of the data controller, their representative or possibly the person in charge, the processing purposes, the categories of personal data concerned, the recipient or the categories of recipients of personal data, information about the transfer of personal data to third countries, the period of retention of personal data, authorized data controllers, a list of your rights, the possibility to contact the Office for Personal Data Protection, the source of the personal data being processed, the information on whether and how automated decision making and profiling take place.

 

Right of access to personal data by the data subject

You have the right to confirm whether personal data is processed or not, and if so, you have access to the information about processing, the categories of personal data concerned, the recipients or the categories of recipients, the period of retention of personal data, as well as the right to information about your rights, the right to make a complaint to the Office for Personal Data Protection, information on the source of personal data, information on whether any automated decision making or profiling take place, the information and guarantees in case of the transfer of personal data to a third country or an international organization. You have also the right to get copies of the personal data being processed.

 

Right to rectification

Do we process your outdated or inaccurate personal data? Did you e.g. change your home address? Please let us know and we will rectify your personal data.

 

Right to erasure (right to be forgotten)

In some legally prescribed cases, we are required to delete your personal information on your instructions. However, each such application is subject to an individual assessment because also the company modulCAD s.r.o. has a duty or legitimate interest in retaining personal data.

 

Right to restriction of processing

You can exercise this right if you wish your personal data to be processed solely for the most legitimate purposes or you wish to block your personal information.

 

Right to data portability

If you wish to provide your personal information to another company, we will transfer your personal data in the appropriate format to your designated entity unless there are any legal or other significant impediments for it.

 

Right to object and the right related to automated decision making

If you find or believe that your personal data is processed in contradiction with the protection of your private life or in case of any non-compliance with the law, please contact us and ask us to explain or remove the inappropriate status.

 

Right to make a complaint to the Office for Personal Data Protection

You may at any time contact your supervisory authority, the Office for Personal Data Protection of the Slovak Republic, located at Hranicna 12, 820 07 Bratislava 27, and submit them your proposal or complaint with regard to the processing of your personal data.

Any information or statements, relating to your rights you will exercise, shall be given to you free of charge by us.

 

How long does it take to receive the answer from our company?

We will provide you with the comments and possible information about the measures taken as soon as possible, but not later than within one month. If necessary, and with respect to the complexity and number of applications, we can extend this period to two months. We will inform you about the extension, including the reasons for it.

 

8. HOW TO WITHDRAW THE CONSENT FOR THE PROCESSING OF YOUR PERSONAL DATA?

The consent for the processing of your personal data is based on the principle of voluntariness. This means you can revoke it at any time. Do you wish not to continue in receiving offers of products and services from us and our business partners anymore? We are sorry to hear it, but we fully respect your decision.

Name of the person who revokes the consent. Please state your name, surname and address of your permanent residence so we can identify you.
